A House Dividing, detail

Inspired by the research of oncologist/cell biologist Dr. Mark Burkard,  this installation was based around the groundbreaking discovery of a new form of cellular division in human cells, cytofission (klerokinesis)  preserving genomic normalcy in the midst of abnormal, cancerous genomic conditions. The process can take over 100+ hours to complete.
