A mix of minimalism and whimsy, Hutch is Leslie Iwai’s newest installation populated by her collection of vibrant handcrafted vinyl rabbit sculptures.
So excited to be hosted by the Regal Find! If you can’t make it to the Gallery Night event the installation will be up through the next week.
My work is featured in this exciting showcase of pieces by applicants to the Forward Art Prize. This prize, conceived by artists Bird Ross and Brenda Baker, awards two prizes of $10,000 to women artists residing in Dane County. I couldn’t be more delighted to participate!
Through all its prophetic imagery, what is happening in the Book of Revelation, and what does it mean for us today? How do you artistically represent the Book of Revelation?
In this conversation, InterVarsity Urbana Program Director, Úna Lucey-Lee, and Urbana Artist in Residence, Leslie Iwai, will discuss the theology behind and within Hold Fast, an art installation originally commissioned for InterVarsity’s Urbana 2018 Conference, and how it uniquely communicates the story of the seven churches from the Book of Revelation.
This event is designed to complement the Hold Fast art performance on Saturday, November 16 at Upper House.
So excited to have this conversation! Please come and more info is available on the link at the bottom of the event page
A second event time begins at 7:00pm
